With the challenges presented by Coronavirus, we are working proactively to adapt and ensure we work successfully within the Governments Guidelines. Details of our current Policies & Procedures can be seen below:


We are actively conducting viewings of vacant properties in line with government guidance. This includes only taking pre-qualified applicants and detailing the terms of attending any viewings.

Maintenance Queries:

The governments guidance advises that landlords’ repair obligations have not changed. Tenants have a right to a decent, warm and safe place to live – and it is in the best interests of both tenants and landlords to ensure that properties are kept in good repair and free from hazards. We are still only focusing on issues considered urgent and will continue to report and investigate issues where appropriate.

Property Inspections:

Although we cannot physically inspect properties currently, we are following the government guidance and actively contacting tenants to send us reports and pictures of the condition of the property. This has so far proven successful and we will keep you informed of any relevant information where applicable.

Gas Safety & Electrical Safety Reports:

The Governments current advice is that landlords should make every effort to abide by existing gas safety regulations and electrical safety regulations which come into force on 1 July. There are provisions in both regulations to account for situations in which a landlord cannot do this, and they must demonstrate they have taken all reasonable steps to comply with the law. 


As the Guidelines evolve, we will of course continually review these processes.
